Fenbendazole is a broad spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintic that is used against gastrointestinal parasites including giardia, roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, the Taenia genus of tapeworms, pinworms, aelurostrongylus, paragonimiasis, and strongyloides. It can also be administered under veterinary prescription to sheep, cattle, horses, fish, dogs, cats, rabbits, and most reptiles.

Interestingly, in p53 wild-type CRC cells, fenbendazole induced G2/M arrest and apoptosis through the p53-p21 pathways without affecting mutant p53 expression. This effect was partially mediated by autophagy and ferroptosis.
Safety

While fenbendazole is used as an antiparasitic in dogs, it is not approved for use in humans. However, it is in a class of medications called anthelmintics that are being studied as possible cancer treatments.

The drug works by binding to microtubules in the parasite, which disrupts their formation and prevents them from forming a cell spindle. This disruption starves the parasite and causes it to die. It also blocks the worm’s ability to produce energy, which is needed for cellular replication and metabolism. Because fenbendazole has multiple cellular targets, it may be more effective than single-target drugs that only block one specific function.
Dosage

Fenbendazole is an antiparasitic medication that belongs to the benzimidazole family of drugs and has broad antiparasitic activity in dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, and other animals. It eliminates a number of intestinal parasites including pinworms, roundworms, whipworms, giardia, some tapeworms, and lungworms (Aelurostrongylus and Paragonimiasis).

This drug is an anthelmintic that binds to the b-tubulin microtubule subunits and inhibits their polymerization. These structures form part of the cytoskeleton, which provides shape and structure to cells. Fenbendazole has been shown to have antitumor activities similar to those of cytotoxic anticancer agents that also act on microtubules.

Three daily i.p. injections of fenbendazole at the dose level in this study significantly reduced tumor growth compared to controls, but did not alter radiation response in EMT6 mammary tumor-bearing mice. These findings suggest that fenbendazole may have a role in cancer therapy. However, more detailed toxicological data are needed to evaluate its potential for human use.
Side effects

Fenbendazole is an antiparasitic drug that is safe for dogs. It has no known interactions with other medications or supplements. However, if your dog has any allergies, you should let your veterinarian know before administering it to her.

It is a benzimidazole compound that binds to the b-tubulin microtubule subunits, disrupting their polymerization. It has also been shown to have anthelmintic activity. It has no effect on normal cells, but it can kill tumor cells by starving them of glucose.

A study comparing tumor growth after various treatments showed that fenbendazole had no effect on cancer cell growth. This was likely due to the vitamin concentrations in the diet, which deteriorate over time. Moreover, the fenbendazole in this study was near expiration at the time of this observation. Nevertheless, the results were similar to those of previous studies. Moreover, these results are in line with the observations made by Joe Tippens. He attributed his success in curing his cancer to fenbendazole.
Storage

Fenbendazole is a benzimidazole anthelmintic that binds to 3-tubulin and inhibits the polymerization of microtubules, thereby damaging and blocking their function. It has a broad spectrum and a high safety margin, and it shows high efficacy against mature and immature forms of parasites.

It is a key ingredient in popular commercial dewormers such as Panacur, Safe-Guard and Fentol Plus. It is also a common ingredient in ‘off label’ veterinary compounds such as this one, used to treat a wide variety of intestinal parasites including roundworms, flukes, certain types of tapeworms and Giardia.

Each fenbendazole pill is dosed based on your pet’s weight, making it easy to administer accurately. It can be added to feed, spread over food or given orally. Each package contains 50 6.7mg capsules. Each is intended to treat a 4-7 lb bird.fenbendazole capsules
