During her visit, the secretary was given an update on the revitalization project. This work includes water street, 2nd to 4th streets and Fireman’s Beach.

1. Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band kicked off their 2023 international tour in Florida. The band is touring Europe and North America.
Springsteen’s songs of yearning – from Born to Run on down – jostle with those that witness how much is beyond our control. He duets with saxophonist Jake Clemons, nephew of late E Street Band legend Clarence Clemons.
2. John Fogerty
John Fogerty is a legendary American singer, guitarist and songwriter best known as the frontman for the swamp rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival. He is responsible for songs like Proud Mary, Down on the Corner, Green River and Bad Moon Rising.
His latest album, Wrote a Song for Everyone, featured collaborations with artists including Foo Fighters and Miranda Lambert. See him perform live this year.
3. The Eagles
The Eagles were the best-selling band of the 1970s and are among the most popular rock groups of all time. With six number-one albums and five top-10 singles, the Eagles are an iconic group that transcends generations.
The current lineup of bassist Timothy B Schmit, guitarist Joe Walsh and vocalist Deacon Frey plus guest Vince Gill performed their album Hotel California in full during the first part of the show.

The Rolling Stones are one of rock’s most iconic groups. From the sexy licks of Street Fighting Man to the driving rhythms of Gimme Shelter and Satisfaction, The Stones continue to thrill crowds worldwide.

5. The Beatles
The Beatles were four young lads from Liverpool who changed music and changed the world. Lennon and McCartney were exceptional songwriters; Harrison was a virtuoso guitar player; and Ringo Starr’s drumming style is unique and impossible to imitate.
They also were the first rock group to experiment with sound, from putting a quiet vocal in front of a loud track (Strawberry Fields Forever) to creating the carnivalesque sounds of Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!
6. Elton John
John combines his colossal classic rock hits with familiar soft rockers and even deep cuts. He can’t hit all of his falsetto high notes anymore — especially on “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” — but he still has a huge catalog to choose from.
During the more-than-two-hour show, overhead videos zoomed in on his dexterous fingers dancing across black and white keys. He and longtime guitarist Davey Johnstone stretched out the arrangements, adding prog-rock elements to crowd favorites like “Rocket Man.”
7. The Black Keys
The Black Keys, a rock duo consisting of guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, epitomize the garage band ethos. They began by recording in basements and cite blues musicians such as Junior Kimbrough and Howlin’ Wolf as their influences.
They are known for their raw, stripped-down sound and have achieved critical acclaim since their debut album. Their latest album, Delta Kream, is a throwback to traditional blues.
8. The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are one of the most legendary touring bands in rock history. They dominated the 60s and 70s with hit after hit.
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Brent Havens will perform the music of the Stones’ classic albums Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed. You’ll hear tracks like Sympathy for the Devil, Ruby Tuesday, and Jumpin’ Jack Flash. The concert will be a celebration of all things classic.

Once a band that said they’d only reunite when hell freezes over, The Eagles are playing again. The current lineup consists of Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy Schmit along with country singer Vince Gill.
